June 10 (Sat) - June 11 (Sun), 2023: Tokyo Toy Show 2023

 

Tokyo University of the Arts, Department of Design × Epoch Co., Ltd. Industry-Academia Collaboration: One Sylvanian Families diorama was exhibited.

As Project Director, I formed the Sylvanian Nature Design project team.

We created two dioramas focusing on the great outdoors.

【A Warm Afternoon Under the Kapok Tree】
This work imagines a tropical island nation reminiscent of Java, centered around a world tree-like structure.
On a typical warm afternoon on the island, everyone relaxes around the large kapok tree, enveloped in the scent of flowers,
preparing for the upcoming Summer Kapok Festival.
