Window of Curiosities

This window was made into a shelf based on a bay window, and a variety of rare items related to art and science from around the world were collected on it to create a museum display shelf.

The Wunderkammer (Chamber of Wonders), a type of room created in Europe between the 15th and 18th centuries, is a room that gathers rare natural and man-made objects without discrimination. It is modeled after the space that is said to be the prototype of modern museums.

The bay window was modified and decorated with artificial jewels and artworks that were not technically feasible to produce at the time, in an attempt to excite and pique the curiosity of viewers from both inside and outside the room.

* Currently, the exhibit is being held experimentally at my home in an undisclosed location, but I am preparing to make it available to a wider audience.
